Cranfield Parish Council is empowered to make grants to local organisations under section 137 of the Local Government Act 1972.
These grants are awarded to organisations and bodies that operate and have their sphere of operation wholly in the Cranfield or Wharley End Wards of Cranfield Village.
Applicants for a grant must be from charitable, voluntary or not for profit organisations that bring recognisable benefit to the people living in the area covered by the parish.
